Etheridge House Senior Living offers two primary levels of care: Assisted Living and a dedicated Memory Care program. Licensed nurses oversee medication administration, routine health assessments and coordination with outside physicians, while on-site caregivers are available around the clock for support with bathing, dressing, mobility and continence needs. The Memory Care neighborhood applies structured daily routines, safety-enhanced corridors and behavior-specific interventions to help residents living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia maintain function and reduce anxiety. Care plans are individualized, updated regularly and reviewed with families to ensure that changing medical requirements—such as diabetic management, oxygen therapy or hospice coordination—are addressed quickly.
Beyond direct medical services, the community incorporates therapy partnerships for physical, occupational and speech rehabilitation, often delivered in the facility’s therapy room to minimize travel for residents. Scheduled transportation is provided for off-site medical appointments, and a registered dietitian reviews menus to align meals with physician-ordered dietary restrictions. Regular wellness programs, fall-prevention initiatives and cognitive engagement activities complement the clinical services and help residents maintain overall health.
Accommodations include studio and one-bedroom apartments as well as companion suites. Features may include private bathrooms with roll-in showers, emergency call pendants, individually controlled HVAC, basic cable and weekly housekeeping, but not every apartment has every feature. Residents can furnish their spaces to suit personal preferences, and maintenance staff handle repairs to lessen day-to-day concerns for families.
The culinary team prepares three meals daily along with snacks, served restaurant-style in the main dining room. Menu options are rotated frequently and modified for low-sodium, diabetic or mechanically altered diets when prescribed. Residents who prefer to dine in their rooms can request tray service, and hydration stations remain stocked throughout the day to encourage fluid intake.
