Carriage House Inn provides two primary levels of care: Assisted Living and Memory Care. Both programs can be accessed for long-term residency or short-term respite stays, and the staff is trained to manage diabetes, coordinate physician visits, and deliver speech therapy as ordered. Residents who need temporary recovery support after hospitalization or whose caregivers need a break can use the community’s respite option, which carries the same clinical oversight as permanent placements.
The community is secured, an essential feature for residents who may wander, and it maintains on-site access to multiple medical disciplines. Along with routine nursing supervision, residents have scheduled visits from an optometrist, dentist, podiatrist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, and hospice team. The building includes dedicated Memory Care–only areas designed to reduce confusion and support wayfinding, and incontinence and ambulatory assistance are available around the clock. Medication management, ongoing assessments, and coordination with outside physicians round out the clinical framework.
Housing options range from studios to larger apartments. Depending on the unit selected, features may include kitchenettes, wheelchair-accessible showers, private balconies or patios, in-room Wi-Fi, individually controlled air conditioning, and dedicated parking. Some suites open onto outdoor decks or landscaped courtyards, and the community is pet-friendly, though individual floor plans vary, and not every accommodation contains every listed feature.
Daily meals are prepared on-site and served in a central dining room, with an all-day menu for residents who prefer flexible hours. Guest meals can be arranged, and vegetarian selections are always available. Specialized diets, including carbohydrate-controlled plans for residents with diabetes, are monitored by staff, and in-suite dining can be arranged when illness or personal preference makes communal meals impractical.
Residents have access to an activity center, swimming pool, library and computer lounge, and both indoor and outdoor walking paths. Scheduled programs include fitness classes, clubs, karaoke, happy hour socials, live-music events, birthday parties, dances, reminiscence and sensory sessions, and intergenerational visits. Transportation is provided for social outings, and staff supervise all activities for safety and engagement.
