Capstone at Mt. Juliet delivers two levels of licensed care: Assisted Living and Memory Care. Residents in the assisted-living program receive help with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and medication administration, all supervised by licensed nurses who are on site or on call 24 hours a day. The Memory Care neighborhood is designed for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia; it incorporates secure access points, structured daily routines, and staff who receive ongoing dementia-specific training. Both care levels provide routine health assessments, coordination with outside physicians, and an emergency call system that links residents to caregivers at any hour.
Additional medical support features include scheduled visits from physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as on-site lab and pharmacy services arranged through local providers. A full-time wellness director tracks changes in residents’ conditions and updates individualized care plans. The community coordinates transportation to medical appointments, and staff arrange post-hospital recovery care when needed. Family members are encouraged to attend care plan meetings and receive regular status reports so they can stay informed about their loved one’s health.
Accommodation options range from studio to one-bedroom and companion suites. Each apartment includes a private bathroom with safety grab bars, individual climate controls, basic cable, and an emergency response system. Some floor plans add kitchenettes, step-in showers, or walk-in closets, while a limited number offer patio access. Not all apartments have every feature, so prospective residents should review layouts during a tour to confirm which amenities are included in the specific unit they are considering.
Residents receive three meals a day served restaurant-style in the main dining room, with menus reviewed by a registered dietitian to support therapeutic diets such as low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, or mechanically altered textures. Flexible dining hours accommodate personal schedules, and snacks are available throughout the day. A private dining room can be reserved for family gatherings, and room-service trays are offered during short-term illness, though not all accommodations include space for in-room dining. Hydration and snack stations positioned in common areas help residents maintain adequate nutrition between meals.
