Park Place of West Knoxville is an independent living community. Residents manage their day-to-day routines while knowing that trained staff members are on site around the clock and can respond to medical or safety emergencies through in-unit call systems. The community coordinates with local physicians, therapy providers, and home health agencies so that residents who need periodic nursing visits, medication setup, or rehabilitation services can receive them without leaving the property.
In addition to the emergency response system, residents have scheduled wellness checks, transportation to medical appointments, and access to fitness and health-education programs designed to help maintain mobility and balance. Housekeeping, linen service, and personal laundry are included, and residents who begin to need help with daily tasks can arrange for outside caregivers to provide assistance in their apartments, allowing them to remain on campus as care needs change.
Apartments come in several floor plans, ranging from studios to two-bedroom units. Features can include kitchenettes or full kitchens, accessible bathrooms with walk-in showers, individual climate controls, and washers and dryers, but not every apartment offers every feature. Many units have private patios or balconies, and basic utilities, cable, and Wi-Fi are covered in the monthly fee. Small pets are allowed. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
Meals are served in a central dining room where residents choose from a rotating menu of entrée options at each seating. The culinary team provides three meals daily, accommodates common dietary restrictions, and keeps a stocked snack and beverage station available throughout the day. For those who prefer to cook occasionally, apartments with full kitchens make that possible, though not every unit includes this option. A private dining area can be reserved for family gatherings, and staff members monitor meal attendance to ensure each resident maintains adequate nutrition.
