The Kempton of Hermitage offers two levels of care: Assisted Living for residents who need daily support and Memory Care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, including advanced stages. The community can accommodate diabetes management, short-term respite stays, and speech therapy.
To back up these care levels, the community keeps an RN or LPN on staff with a nurse on call around the clock. Residents benefit from on-site medication management, hospice coordination, incontinence and ambulatory care, as well as services from occupational, physical, and speech therapists. Suites and common areas are equipped with door alarms, wander-guard technology, and pull-cord systems, and an awake night staff performs regular rounds. Caregivers provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and can support transfers that involve walkers, wheelchairs, standby help, or a one-person lift.
Living quarters are designed for practicality and safety. Some apartments feature private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and independent temperature controls, while all receive routine housekeeping and scheduled laundry service. Prospective residents should verify which unit layouts include which features.
Dining follows a flexible, on-order approach that allows residents to choose meals suited to individual tastes and dietary plans. A private dining room is available for family visits or special occasions, and clinical staff coordinate with dining services to ensure nutritional needs for conditions such as diabetes are met.
Residents have access to an on-site barber and beauty shop, regularly scheduled religious services, and community transportation for medical appointments and errands.
