The Capstone at Station Camp provides both Assisted Living and Memory Care, tailoring services to residents who need routine support or specialized dementia programming. The community can safely manage wandering behaviors day or night, elopement risk, combativeness, behavioral concerns, and residents who prefer to stay up all night. Clinical capabilities extend to wound care, oxygen management, special diets, and diabetes care whether managed by oral medication, injections, or sliding scale. Younger adults under 60 are accepted when their needs fit within the community’s scope, and staff members are trained to work with advanced dementia conditions.
Around-the-clock clinical oversight is delivered by RNs and LPNs who are on site 24 hours a day, with an additional nurse on call. Background-screened caregivers remain awake overnight, and an Activity Director coordinates therapeutic engagement. Safety measures include a fenced rear area, Wander Guard technology, pull cords, and personal emergency response systems that alert staff immediately. On-site podiatry visits and a dedicated therapy room limit the need for outside appointments. Residents may receive full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and mobility support ranges from supervision while using a walker to a one-person transfer for wheelchair users.
Apartments can include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, individual climate controls, and cable service, and every apartment is covered by routine housekeeping and scheduled laundry, though not all units contain every listed feature. The design allows residents to personalize their space while still accessing the support they need just outside the door.
Meals are cooked to order, with snacks available throughout the day and a private dining room for family gatherings or special occasions. The culinary team manages an array of diet modifications, including gluten-free choices, mechanical-chopped or puréed textures, thickened liquids, vegetarian selections, and physician-ordered therapeutic diets, ensuring residents receive appropriate nutrition without sacrificing variety.
Residents have access to on-site parking, outdoor smoking areas, and wheelchair-accessible common spaces. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. Amenities include a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie room, wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, on-site religious services, concierge services, a library, and special-interest clubs. Scheduled transportation helps residents keep medical appointments or enjoy local outings.
