Poplar Estates provides two primary levels of support: Assisted Living for residents who need help with daily tasks and Memory Care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Both programs are delivered by staff trained to address varying degrees of physical assistance and cognitive impairment, giving families a consistent place to turn as needs change.
Additional medical services reinforce the core programs. The community is secured to promote resident safety, especially for those in Memory Care. Short-term respite stays are available, and staff members are trained in diabetes management. On-site medical capabilities include incontinence care, assistance with ambulation, and coordination of hospice services when required, allowing residents to remain in familiar surroundings even as care demands increase.
Residences are designed to balance independence and support. Floor plans vary, and features such as pet-friendly policies and direct access to outdoor areas are available in select units. Because not every accommodation has each feature, prospective residents should confirm what is included in the specific apartment they are considering.
Dining offers both structure and flexibility. A set menu covers balanced daily meals, while on-order options let residents request alternatives that meet personal tastes or dietary instructions. Staff can coordinate with medical providers to align meals with individual care plans, including carbohydrate-controlled or texture-modified diets.
Amenities and services include a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, on-site religious services, an in-house pharmacy, and purified air that uses UV-C technology. Pets are allowed. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
