THE BUNGALOWS AT INDIAN LAND offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care, with services calibrated to each level of need. Residents with wandering behaviors—morning or evening—can be safely accommodated, as can those who stay up all night. The community manages special diets and oral-medication diabetes, and it is equipped to care for people living with advanced dementia conditions.
Care is backed by a nurse on call 24 hours a day, an activity director who coordinates daily engagement, and in-room pull cords that alert staff. A dedicated therapy room supports rehabilitative services. Staff can provide full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and transfers are handled according to individual need—whether that involves standby help, a walker, a wheelchair, a one-person lift, or a two-person lift.
Apartments may include independent temperature controls, regular housekeeping, and scheduled laundry service, but not every unit has every feature. Residents in Independent Living benefit from routine housekeeping so they can focus on daily activities rather than chores.
Meals follow a set menu, and snacks are available throughout the day. The kitchen team can modify textures to mechanical chop or puree and will work with residents who have special dietary requirements, including diabetic considerations.
Amenities and conveniences include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible spaces, an on-site barber and beauty shop, an exercise room, a wellness center, internet access, concierge assistance, a library, special-interest clubs, and community transportation limited to medical and shuttle service. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
