TerraBella Marchbanks offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, giving families two levels of support under one roof. The community cares for residents who wander day or night, exhibit elopement risk, show combative or other behavioral issues, stay awake through the night, or live with advanced dementia. Clinical staff can manage wound care, oxygen therapy, diabetic care for both oral and insulin-dependent residents, and special diets. Individuals under 60 are accepted when clinically appropriate, and the team is trained to follow the protocols that come with their more complex needs.
Registered nurses or licensed practical nurses are on site, with a nurse on call 24 hours a day. All employees complete background checks. The building uses door alarms, pull-cord and PERS alert systems, fenced outdoor areas, and round-the-clock staffing for security. A visiting nurse practitioner, psychiatric practitioner, and podiatry services reduce off-site appointments, and a therapy room supports rehabilitation goals. Residents receive full assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting, while staff provide standby help for eating. Transfer help ranges from walker and wheelchair support to one-person or two-person assists.
Apartments give residents a choice of layouts, and some feature private bathrooms, roll-in showers, independent temperature controls, and cable service; housekeeping and scheduled laundry are standard. Because configurations differ, not every unit includes every feature, so a tour is recommended to confirm individual preferences.
Dining combines a set menu with the option to order alternate selections at each meal. Snacks are available throughout the day, and a private dining room can be reserved for family visits. The culinary team accommodates doctor-ordered diet modifications, including mechanical soft, chopped, puréed, thickened liquids, vegetarian meals, and other clinically required restrictions.
Daily life is supported by resident parking, outdoor smoking areas, wheelchair-accessible design, and a shuttle for medical appointments. A barber and beauty shop, internet access, on-site religious services, patio and gazebo, and in-house physical, occupational, and speech therapy are also available. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
