Atria Center City provides three levels of residence—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and a dedicated Memory Care neighborhood—and is equipped to manage advanced dementia as well as a broad range of medical needs. The community accepts residents who wander during the day or night, exhibit elopement risk, display combative or other behavioral issues, require wound care, use oxygen, follow special diets, or need diabetes management by oral medication, injections, or sliding-scale insulin. Individuals under 60 years of age who meet these criteria can also be accommodated.
Registered nurses or licensed practical nurses are on site around the clock, backed by an on-call nurse for added coverage. All team members undergo background checks, and an awake night-shift staff monitors door alarms, pull-cord systems, and personal emergency response devices. Full assistance is available for bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and the staff can support walkers, wheelchairs, standby transfers, one-person transfers, and residents who are bed-bound. On-site podiatry services are offered, and the community is able to admit and care for residents with psychiatric diagnoses.
Accommodation options range from studio to larger layouts. Some residences include a private bathroom, a kitchenette, furnishing packages, individual climate controls, cable service, and the option to paint or decorate the space; not every apartment has every feature, so families should confirm availability. Housekeeping, laundry, and a monthly meal plan are provided for Independent Living, and medication-management monitoring is available for those residents who select it.
Daily meals are served restaurant-style with both set menus and on-order choices, and snacks are available throughout the day. The culinary team can adjust textures, portion sizes, and ingredients to support physician-ordered diets such as diabetic, low-sodium, or other specialized nutrition plans. Independent Living residents may select the meal package that best fits their schedule while still having access to communal dining rooms for social engagement.
Residents have access to parking, outdoor smoking areas, and wheelchair-accessible entrances. Pets are allowed, and it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. On-site amenities include a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie room, wellness center, internet access, and regularly scheduled religious services. Transportation is provided for medical appointments and errands, and the building is close to public transit for residents who prefer to travel independently.
