The Chandler Estate provides both Assisted Living and Independent Living options. Residents who choose Assisted Living receive medical oversight that can include oxygen therapy, special diet preparation, and support for diabetics on oral medication or insulin sliding‐scale programs. The community is able to accept individuals with moderate dementia and adjust care plans accordingly. Independent Living residents benefit from on-site monitoring of medication management, giving them an extra layer of safety while maintaining autonomy.
Clinical support is built around a licensed nursing presence: an RN or LPN is on staff, with a nurse on call around the clock. Staff members are background checked, and the night shift remains awake for continuous monitoring. The community’s podiatry service helps residents manage foot health without leaving the building. Direct assistance is available for bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting when only some physical help is required. Transfer help ranges from standby supervision to one-person transfers, including aid for walkers and wheelchairs. Daily programming is organized by an Activity Director.
Residences vary, and not every unit has every feature. Available layouts can include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, furnishings, individual climate controls, cable connections, and the option to repaint or decorate. Meals are served from a set menu, with snacks always accessible and modifications made for doctor-ordered diets. Independent Living occupants can add housekeeping, laundry, and a monthly meal plan to simplify everyday tasks.
Additional amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, wellness center, communal gardens, and on-site religious services. Scheduled transportation helps residents reach medical appointments or local shops. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
