Park Creek Place delivers both Assisted Living and secure Memory Care, giving residents who need extra support or progressive dementia services a place to remain safely on site. The team is equipped to manage wandering at any hour, elopement risk, behavioral or combative episodes, and residents who stay up all night. Clinical oversight covers wound care, oxygen management, all forms of diabetes care—including oral medication, injections and sliding-scale insulin—and special diet compliance. Younger residents under 60 who need Assisted Living can also be served, and the staff is trained to handle advanced dementia conditions without requiring transfer to another community.
Around-the-clock nursing coverage includes RNs and LPNs, supported by awake overnight staff, door alarms, personal emergency response systems and pull cords in resident rooms. Background-checked caregivers deliver full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating and toileting, and can provide everything from standby help for walker users to two-person and Hoyer lift transfers for bed-bound individuals. On-site medical providers visit regularly for podiatry, audiology and dental care, and the community accepts residents who have psychiatric diagnoses that need ongoing attention. An activity director coordinates daily cognitive and physical programs to keep residents engaged.
Living options range from furnished suites with private bathrooms and kitchenettes to more basic rooms, and not every accommodation has every feature. Residents can control their own heat and air conditioning, arrange for cable, and personalize the space with paint or décor if they choose. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry are included, reducing day-to-day chores. Independent Living residents have their own wing and may add medication-management monitoring, routine housekeeping, and a monthly meal plan while keeping a higher level of autonomy.
Meals are prepared three times a day with a standard menu and an on-order option for those who prefer choice. The culinary team accommodates doctor-ordered diets, including gluten-free, vegetarian, mechanical-chopped, puréed and thickened-liquid textures. Snacks are available throughout the day, and families can reserve the private dining room for special occasions. Hydration and nutrition monitoring are integrated into care plans, ensuring residents on special diets or with diabetes receive the correct portions and timing.
Residents share multiple common areas and conveniences such as resident parking, wheelchair-accessible entrances, a wellness center, exercise room, movie room, beauty/barber shop and internet access. Landscaped communal gardens and on-site religious services provide outdoor and spiritual options, while scheduled transportation and proximity to public transit help with off-site appointments. Concierge services assist with everyday arrangements, and the community permits smoking outdoors as well as welcoming pets; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
