Walden's View Senior Living provides two levels of residential care—Assisted Living for adults who need help with daily activities and Memory Care for those experiencing cognitive change. Both programs are overseen by licensed nurses who manage medications, coordinate physician visits, and monitor chronic conditions. Residents with diabetes receive individualized oversight whether they use oral medications, injections, or a sliding-scale regimen, and people under 60 who require assisted living are accepted. The Memory Care neighborhood is a secured community designed specifically to reduce confusion and risk of wandering, with staff trained to redirect and support residents who roam in the morning or evening. Short-term respite stays are available for families who need temporary placement.
Additional health services are organized to reduce off-site trips. A visiting doctor, podiatrist, dentist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, and speech therapist hold regular clinics on campus. There is a dedicated therapy room, hospice coordination, and full wound-care capability, including oxygen management. Staff remain on duty through the night to handle urgent needs, and the building’s security measures include controlled access points to deter elopement. Incontinence care, ambulatory support, and dietary adjustments for texture or medical restrictions are all routinely delivered.
Apartments are offered in several layouts and not all include every feature, but options can include private bathrooms, basic furnishings, cable service, and independent temperature controls. Housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance are provided, and the building is fully air-conditioned. Common areas feature a central fireplace, a piano for resident use, landscaped outdoor spaces, and on-site parking. The community is pet-friendly, pending review of the resident’s ability to care for the animal.
Meals are prepared on a set menu that can be modified for mechanical soft, pureed, or thickened liquid diets as ordered by clinical staff. Three meals a day plus snacks are included, with guest meals available for visiting family and friends. Dietitian oversight ensures compliance with physician-ordered restrictions such as low-sugar or low-sodium plans, and residents may keep personal snacks if approved.
Residents can join clubs and social groups, use the library and computer lounge, and participate in activities such as karaoke, happy hour, chair yoga, intergenerational programs, bingo, dances, and birthday celebrations. Live music, an activity center, scheduled social outings, and access to an on-site swimming pool round out the recreation program, with staff supervision to promote safety and engagement.
