Messiah Village Continuing Care Retirement Community offers three levels of residence: Independent Living for those who are largely self-sufficient, Assisted Living for individuals who need help with daily tasks, and a secure Memory Care neighborhood designed for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Short-term respite stays are available across these settings, giving caregivers a break or allowing prospective residents to sample community life before making a longer commitment.
On-site clinical resources are comprehensive. Residents have access to nurses around the clock, diabetes monitoring, incontinence and ambulatory care, hearing services, podiatry, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy. The campus is equipped with an emergency call system and dedicated secured areas for those who may wander, adding an extra layer of safety. Continuing care and resident or family counseling help individuals manage changing health needs without leaving the community.
Living options range from studio and efficiency apartments to other layouts, each maintained with routine housekeeping. Some residences offer outdoor access, cable TV connections, and parking, while select areas of the campus include a library and computer lounge for personal projects or quiet reading. Because floor plans differ, not every unit contains every one of these features.
The community provides three daily meals in communal dining rooms. Menus are planned to meet general nutrition guidelines, and staff can accommodate physician-ordered dietary modifications when needed. Meals can be taken in the main dining venue or, in certain circumstances, delivered to a resident’s apartment.
Residents can spend free time in the activity center, join scheduled health and wellness programs, participate in arts and crafts sessions, or connect with peers through various clubs and social groups. These structured options support both physical activity and social engagement without requiring residents to leave campus.
