Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village Continuing Care Retirement Community offers three levels of residential care—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—allowing residents to move between settings as their needs change. Short-term respite stays are also available, giving family caregivers relief and residents access to the community’s services for a limited time.
The community maintains an emergency call system in every living area for prompt response. On-site medical support includes hospice coordination, stroke and cardiac care oversight, licensed nurses, podiatry and dental visits, occupational and speech therapy, and resident and family counseling. These services are delivered within the same campus, reducing the need for outside appointments and helping residents manage chronic or complex conditions while remaining in familiar surroundings.
Apartments vary from studio and efficiency layouts to larger floor plans. Some residences come fully furnished, while others allow personal furnishings. Features such as wall-to-wall carpet, central air conditioning, cable television, Wi-Fi, in-unit washer and dryer, window treatments, and parking are available in select units; not every accommodation includes every feature. Outdoor walking paths, landscaped grounds, and garden areas give residents a place to spend time outside, and a library with computer lounge supports quiet reading or internet access. Regular housekeeping is provided to maintain a clean living environment.
Dining services include three daily meals prepared to meet nutritional guidelines, with healthy snacks offered between meals. Menus rotate to provide variety and can be adapted for physician-ordered diets. Residents who prefer lighter fare or specific mealtime schedules can discuss options with dining staff.
Residents can join an activity center that hosts arts and crafts sessions, TV and movie nights, and structured health and wellness programs. Clubs and community groups meet regularly, and planned social outings keep residents engaged with local events.
