Sarah Reed Senior Living offers three core levels of residential care. Independent Living residents maintain an active lifestyle while having access to clinical staff if health needs arise. Assisted Living provides daily help with medications, mobility, and personal care under the supervision of licensed nurses. Memory Care delivers structured routines and safety measures for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias, using evidence-based approaches to reduce confusion and agitation. Residents in any program can transition between these levels as their needs change without leaving the campus.
Additional medical support is available on site. Short-term respite stays give family caregivers relief and allow prospective residents to experience the community. A rehabilitation team delivers physical, occupational, and speech therapy, helping residents regain strength or adapt to new physical challenges without traveling off campus. Licensed nurses are on duty around the clock, and continuing care planning ensures that changes in health status are addressed quickly. Resident and family counseling services provide guidance during care transitions, and the community’s dementia specialists coordinate with the broader Memory Care program for consistency in treatment plans.
Apartments range from studio and efficiency layouts to larger floor plans, and not every unit features the same amenities. Some residences include an in-unit washer and dryer, cable television, Wi-Fi, and all utilities, while others offer shared laundry facilities. Housekeeping is provided on a scheduled basis, and secure parking is available for those who drive. Landscaped outdoor areas give residents places to walk or relax without leaving the property.
The dining program supplies three daily meals plus snacks, all prepared on site. Menus rotate to provide variety and can be adjusted for low-salt, diabetic, or texture-modified diets as ordered by medical staff. Residents may choose table service in the main dining room or request meal delivery to their apartment during recovery periods. Staff monitor nutritional intake for those in Memory Care and Assisted Living to ensure adequate hydration and caloric balance.
Residents can pursue hobbies and social connections through the Activity Center, organized clubs and interest groups, and a library and computer lounge equipped for both reading and internet access. These resources support cognitive engagement, social interaction, and independent learning without residents needing to leave the campus.
