Ridgecrest at Cranberry Woods provides three distinct levels of care—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—within one community. For residents who wander, exhibit elopement risk, stay up all night, or rely on oxygen, the staff puts individualized protocols in place. Special dietary oversight covers routine meal management as well as diabetic support for oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin. The Memory Care program is structured for those living with moderate dementia, and the community also admits adults under 60 when clinically appropriate.
Clinical staffing includes an RN or LPN on site, with a nurse available by phone around the clock. Care team members are background-checked, an awake night shift is standard, and personal emergency response systems alert staff day or night. Podiatry visits are conducted on site, reducing the need for outside trips. Residents who need some help with bathing, dressing, eating, or toileting receive that assistance, and transfers are supported whether the individual uses a walker, wheelchair, needs standby supervision, or requires a one-person lift.
Apartments are offered in several layouts; some include a private bathroom, kitchenette, furnishings, independent temperature controls, cable service, and the option to paint or decorate, while others feature only select amenities. Meals are made to order, snacks are available throughout the day, and the culinary team handles physician-ordered diet modifications. Independent Living residents have weekly housekeeping and laundry services included to maintain a low-maintenance lifestyle.
Residents have access to parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie room, wellness center, internet connectivity, communal gardens, on-site religious services, and scheduled transportation for errands and appointments. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
