Heatheridge Residential Care & Assisted Living offers assisted living services designed to support residents who need help with daily tasks while maintaining as much independence as possible. A licensed nurse oversees care coordination, medication management, chronic-condition monitoring, and regular health assessments. Trained caregivers are on duty around the clock to assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and toileting. The community maintains an on-call physician relationship for urgent concerns and arranges on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy sessions when ordered. Every apartment is equipped with an emergency response system that connects residents to staff within moments, and daily safety checks are built into the routine.
In addition to direct medical oversight, Heatheridge includes structured wellness and rehabilitation programs aimed at preventing hospital readmissions. Exercise classes, balance training, and cognitive games are scheduled throughout the week, and a registered dietitian consults on meal plans for residents with diabetes, heart disease, or swallowing difficulties. Transportation is provided for off-site medical appointments, while on-site lab and pharmacy partnerships reduce the need for outside trips. Short-term respite stays are accepted when space is available, and families receive regular updates on each resident’s care plan.
Accommodations range from studio suites to one-bedroom apartments. Basic features include step-in showers with grab bars, emergency pull cords, individual climate controls, cable television hookups, and weekly housekeeping and linen service. Select units add kitchenettes, walk-in closets, or private patios, but not all accommodations have all the features. Maintenance is handled by on-site staff, and residents can furnish their apartments to suit personal preferences.
Dining services provide three meals a day in a central dining room with table service. Menus rotate regularly and include multiple entrée choices at each meal, with options for low-sodium, diabetic, and vegetarian diets. Pureed or mechanically soft textures are prepared for residents with swallowing disorders, and staff are available to assist those who need help cutting food or managing utensils. Snacks and beverages are accessible throughout the day, and private dining space can be reserved for family gatherings.
