Tuscany Village Nursing Center offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, allowing residents to remain on the same campus even as needs change. Staff members are trained to manage advanced dementia conditions and can support residents who wander during the day or night, exhibit elopement risks, or have combative or other behavioral concerns. The team also provides care for individuals under 60, diabetics who require injections, and anyone following a physician-ordered diet.
Medical oversight is reinforced by a 24-hour nurse on call, an awake night shift, and employees who have undergone background checks. On-site services include hospice care, podiatry, wound care, speech and occupational therapy, diabetic monitoring, and electronic medication administration via Quietcare and Skynet technology. Residents can receive full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and staff are trained for walker, wheelchair, standby, and one-person transfers. An activity director coordinates daily programming, and the grounds feature an enclosed courtyard monitored by 24-hour security.
Accommodations range from suites with private bathrooms and kitchenettes to more basic rooms that emphasize ease of care; not every unit contains every feature. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry services are provided, letting residents focus on recovery or daily routines rather than chores.
Meals follow a set menu overseen by dietary staff who can modify selections for diabetics, residents on special diets, or those requiring texture adjustments. Staff are available to assist anyone who needs help with eating, ensuring nutritional goals are met consistently.
The community includes resident parking, an on-site barber and beauty shop, internet access, emergency response devices in each room, concierge service, a fireside living room, piano, library, arts and crafts studio, walking paths, a greenhouse area for gardening, and special dietary menu options. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
