Arbor House of Mustang offers two primary levels of service: Assisted Living for residents who need help with activities of daily living and Memory Care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Both care programs are structured to adapt as needs change, and diabetes management is available for those who require that monitoring and support.
Support is reinforced by an emergency call system in every apartment and a secured community layout that helps reduce the risk of wandering. Licensed nurses oversee on-site services that include medication management, incontinence care, ambulatory assistance, hospice coordination, and specialized programs designed for residents with memory loss. Laundry and dry-cleaning services are handled by staff, and the community maintains a Memory Care–only area for those who benefit from a smaller, more controlled setting.
Living spaces range from studio and efficiency apartments to suites located near common outdoor areas or the central fireplace. Some residences include cable or satellite TV hookups, a view of the piano or organ lounge, or proximity to Midwest Village, Nicholas Conservatory, and Anderson Gardens–inspired landscaping. Parking is available for residents who still drive. Because floor plans vary, not every accommodation contains every feature.
Daily meals are prepared on site and served throughout the day so residents can eat on their own schedule. A standard meal plan is included in the monthly rate, and healthy snacks are stocked in common areas for between-meal options. The culinary team is able to adjust menus for physician-ordered diets, including those needed for diabetes management.
Residents have access to an activity center for crafts and games, a library and computer lounge for quiet reading or internet use, and regularly scheduled yoga and chair-yoga classes. Social calendars feature happy hours, birthday parties, dances, clubs, live music performances, and off-site outings. During warmer months, the outdoor swimming pool becomes a focal point for exercise and small group gatherings.
