The Brookfield in Claremore, Oklahoma, provides two levels of residential care: Assisted Living for individuals who need help with daily activities and Memory Care designed for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Medical support on campus covers diabetes management, regular visits from a doctor, speech therapy, and the option for respite or short-term stays, giving families flexibility when temporary care is needed.
The community is secured, an important feature for residents who may wander, and is staffed by licensed nurses and aides around the clock. On-site medical services include medication management, incontinence and ambulatory care, hospice coordination, podiatry, and occupational and physical therapy. Laundry and dry-cleaning services are handled by staff, and visiting or on-site nurses maintain routine health checks to help residents stay on their prescribed care plans.
Private and semi-private accommodations are available, some with fireplaces, patios that open to landscaped grounds, or proximity to outdoor areas such as Midwest Village and the Nicholas Conservatory & Anderson Gardens. Housekeeping is performed regularly, and parking is available for residents who still drive. Cats are allowed in designated units. Because floor plans vary, not every apartment includes every listed feature.
Three meals a day are prepared and served in a communal dining room. Recipes are adjusted to meet physician-ordered diets or individual preferences, and staff is present to assist residents who need help with eating. Snacks and beverages are accessible between meals, and families can arrange for guest dining when visiting.
Residents have access to an activity center, a library and computer lounge, and both indoor and outdoor walking paths that link to health and wellness programs. Clubs, social outings, and other off-site activities are scheduled regularly to keep residents engaged with the broader community. Outdoor areas are available for supervised recreation when weather permits.
