The Gables of Green offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, with programming and clinical oversight designed for residents who require everyday support, including those living with advanced dementia. The team is prepared to manage complex medical profiles such as wandering behaviors at any hour, elopement risk, combativeness, other behavioral issues, night-time wakefulness, wound care, oxygen therapy, special diets, diabetes management—whether by oral medication, insulin injections, or sliding scale—and support for residents under 60.
Care delivery is reinforced by an RN or LPN on staff and a nurse on site around the clock. Background-checked caregivers remain awake overnight, while door alarms, fenced outdoor areas, WanderGuard systems, pull cords, and personal emergency response devices help maintain safety. Podiatry is provided on site. Staff can give full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from standby aid to two-person or full Hoyer lifts, accommodating walkers and wheelchairs. An activity director leads structured daily engagement suited to each resident’s abilities.
Apartments vary in layout; some include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, independent temperature controls, cable service, and the option to paint or decorate the room. Not every accommodation contains every listed feature, so families should confirm availability during a tour.
Meals can be chosen from a set menu or ordered individually, with snacks always accessible. The culinary team works with nursing to modify textures, portion sizes, and nutrient content to meet medical and cultural requirements.
Residents have access to on-site parking, wheelchair-friendly common areas, a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie room, wellness center, warm-water therapy pool, internet, communal gardens, and regular religious services. Additional supports include medication administration, housekeeping, other multi-purpose rooms, and scheduled transportation for medical or personal errands. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
