The Willows at Tiffin delivers assisted-living services designed for residents who need help with daily routines while still wishing to retain as much independence as possible. Care is available around the clock from state-tested nursing assistants with oversight by licensed nurses. Staff members handle medication administration and monitoring, coordinate prescription refills, and observe residents for changes in health status that may require physician input. Support with bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting, and other activities of daily living is provided based on an individualized service plan, and care levels are adjusted if needs change.
Beyond the core medical and personal-care services, the community offers access to on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as regular wellness assessments. Transportation to local medical appointments is arranged when required, and the team schedules in-house physician visits, podiatry clinics, and lab draws to limit disruptions for residents. An emergency response system links every resident to staff at all times, and routine fall-risk screenings, exercise classes, and health education sessions aim to maintain strength and reduce hospital visits.
Accommodations range from studios to one-bedroom and companion suites, each featuring a private bath with safety bars, step-in showers, and an emergency call device. Select units add kitchenettes, individual climate controls, and extra storage, but not all accommodations have all the features. Weekly housekeeping, linen service, and maintenance are standard. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, and common lounges give residents additional space to visit with family or participate in group activities. Pets are allowed in certain units; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
The dining program supplies three meals daily plus snacks, with menus developed under the guidance of a dietitian to meet varied nutritional needs, including diabetic, heart-healthy, and low-sodium options. Meals are served restaurant-style in a central dining room, and staff provide assistance for anyone who needs help cutting food or opening containers. Residents who are ill or recovering from a procedure can request tray service to their suites, and guests may purchase meals with advance notice. Special occasion menus, chef demonstrations, and themed dinners round out the food service, giving residents consistent nutrition without sacrificing choice.
