The Ashford of Grove City-Wallick offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care under one roof, allowing residents to move between service levels without leaving the community. Individualized care plans cover everything from occasional reminders for independent residents to structured daily routines for those with Alzheimer’s disease or other advanced dementia conditions.
Clinical services are extensive. The staff can manage residents who wander at any time of day, need elopement prevention, stay up all night, require wound care, oxygen therapy, specialized diets, and all forms of diabetic management including oral medications, injections, and sliding-scale insulin. A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse is on site, with a nurse on call 24 hours a day. All team members undergo background checks, the night shift remains awake, and resident safety is reinforced by in-room pull cords that alert staff. Hands-on help is available for full‐assist bathing, full‐assist dressing, some assistance with eating, and full‐assist toileting. Residents who use walkers or wheelchairs can receive standby, one-person, or two-person transfers as needed. An on-staff activity director coordinates programs that match each resident’s abilities.
Apartments vary, so not every unit includes every feature, but choices may include a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent temperature controls, and the option to paint or decorate the room. Scheduled transportation helps residents reach medical appointments, religious services, and local shops.
Three meals a day are prepared on site and served restaurant-style, with snacks available between meal times. The culinary team adjusts menus for doctor-ordered diets such as low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, or mechanically altered textures to match the community’s clinical capabilities.
