Canton Regency delivers three levels of residency—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—so residents may move in with the right amount of support and stay as their needs change. The community is equipped to manage residents who wander at any time of day, experience elopement risk, present behavioral concerns, remain awake throughout the night, or live with advanced dementia. Nurses oversee wound care, oxygen therapy, and full diabetic management, including oral medications, insulin injections, and sliding-scale protocols. Adults under 60 who require these services can also be accommodated.
Around-the-clock clinical oversight comes from an RN or LPN who is on-site 24 hours a day, backed by an additional nurse on call. Staff members have completed background checks, the night shift stays awake, and an activity director plans a structured daily schedule. Safety measures include door alarms, secure fencing in rear areas, WanderGuard technology, pull cords, and personal emergency response systems that alert staff. Full-assist help is available for bathing, dressing, toileting, and eating, and the team can complete transfers ranging from standby assistance to two-person or Hoyer-lift moves for bed-bound residents. On-site podiatry and a dedicated therapy room support ongoing medical maintenance and rehabilitation.
Residences vary in size and layout, offering options that may include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, furnished setups, independent temperature controls, cable service, and the ability to paint or decorate—though not every unit has every feature. Independent Living residents may arrange medication-management monitoring, and all Independent Living suites include regular housekeeping and laundry.
Dining services give residents a set daily menu with alternate entrées available on order, along with snacks throughout the day and the option for in-room meal delivery. The culinary team accommodates physician-ordered diet modifications and works with residents who need assistance at mealtimes.
Community amenities include resident parking, outdoor designated smoking areas, full wheelchair accessibility, and scheduled transportation with access to nearby public transit. A barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie room, wellness center, internet access points, communal gardens, on-site religious services, and additional multipurpose rooms support daily routines and social events.
