Willensky Residence of Menorah Park is dedicated to memory care and is equipped to work with residents who wander during the day or night, are at risk for elopement, and who manage diabetes with either oral medications or injections. The community is prepared to support residents living with moderate dementia and coordinates on-site podiatry services to help maintain overall mobility and foot health.
A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse is on duty around the clock, and the building maintains an awake night shift. Staff members are background-checked, doors are alarmed, rear outdoor areas are fenced, and residents who need additional protection can be fitted with Wander Guard technology. Pull-cord alarms in resident areas alert staff for immediate help. The team can provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and they accommodate walkers, wheelchairs, standby supervision, and one-person transfers.
Residences can include a private bathroom, basic furnishings, individual climate controls, cable service, and regular housekeeping, although not every unit offers every feature. Families can select the layout that best matches the resident’s preferences and budget.
Meals follow a set menu that meets general nutritional standards, and staff are available to assist anyone who needs help eating. Light snacks are accessible between meals for residents who need additional calories or prefer smaller, more frequent portions.
Community amenities include wheelchair-accessible common areas, an on-site barber and beauty shop, campus-wide internet access, landscaped communal gardens, regularly scheduled religious services, and convenient access to public transportation for appointments or outings.
