New Perspective West Fargo offers three levels of residential support. Independent Living is available for older adults who can manage most daily activities on their own but want the convenience of a service-rich environment. Assisted Living adds regular help from staff and access to on-site health and wellness programs, while Memory Care is designed for residents with moderate dementia, layering in routines, a secure environment, and staff trained to guide cognition-related needs.
Staff remain awake throughout the night, monitoring resident well-being and responding to calls for assistance. Scheduled health and wellness programs help residents track vitals, manage chronic conditions, and maintain mobility. When daily tasks become challenging, caregivers provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer help is available whether a resident uses a walker, wheelchair, or only needs standby supervision, reducing fall risk during moves between bed, chair, or bathroom.
Apartments come in several layouts, and some include a kitchenette for light meal preparation, while others arrive fully furnished to allow a quicker move-in. Because floor plans vary, prospective residents should verify which features are present in the unit they are considering.
Meals are prepared by the culinary team and served at set times in the community dining room, with staff available to help residents who need assistance cutting food or managing utensils. Between scheduled meals, snacks are stocked and can be requested at any time, supporting residents with special dietary schedules or blood-sugar considerations.
Residents have access to on-site parking for personal vehicles, an exercise room for strength and balance work, a barber and beauty shop for routine grooming, and internet access throughout the building for email, streaming, or telehealth appointments. Outdoor communal gardens offer a place to walk or sit, and community-managed transportation is available for medical appointments and local errands.
