Bethany On University delivers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, including programs for residents with advanced dementia. The community accepts individuals who wander during the day or night, present elopement risks, display combative or other behavioral challenges, or stay awake throughout the night. Clinical support covers wound care, oxygen therapy, diabetes management with oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin, and specialized meal plans. Residents under 60 years old may also be admitted when care needs align with these offerings.
Registered nurses or licensed practical nurses are on site around the clock, and the building maintains 24-hour security, background-checked staff, PERS alert systems, and an awake night shift. On-site clinical services include nursing care, hospice, speech therapy, occupational therapy, ambulatory and incontinence care, dental visits, resident and family counseling, and both assisted and independent living options. Staff provide full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and can handle mobility ranging from walkers and wheelchairs to one-person or two-person transfers, Hoyer lifts, and bed-bound care.
Apartments are designed to support varying preferences and budgets. Some units feature a private bathroom, a kitchenette for light meal preparation, and cable access for personal entertainment; not every apartment contains all three features, so it is best to confirm availability during a tour.
Meals follow a set menu prepared to accommodate physician-ordered diets as well as individual preferences. Snacks are available between scheduled meals to help manage blood-sugar levels and curb hunger throughout the day.
Residents have access to a barber and beauty shop for routine grooming, a wellness center for exercise and therapy sessions, on-site religious services for spiritual support, and a library stocked for quiet reading or small group activities.
