Lynn's Home at Riverside is licensed as both a residential care home and a memory care setting, with programs organized for residents who present moderate dementia and wandering behaviors throughout the day and night. The community is equipped to monitor and redirect residents prone to wandering during AM and PM hours, and care plans are adjusted to the cognitive and behavioral profile of each resident.
Medical oversight is led by an RN/LPN team with a nurse on-site 24 hours a day. Staff members remain awake on the night shift, background checks are standard, and the building features door alarms, fenced outdoor areas, and round-the-clock security presence. A visiting podiatrist delivers on-site foot care. Direct care staff provide some physical assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Mobility support ranges from standby supervision to one- and two-person transfers, and residents who use walkers or wheelchairs are accommodated.
Private and semi-private suites are available; some, but not all, include a private bathroom and furnished setups. Rooms are designed for functional ease rather than decorative appeal, and maintenance staff can adjust furniture placement for mobility devices.
The dining program offers three standard meals each day with low- or no-sodium options for residents who require dietary monitoring, and healthy snacks are replenished between meals. Menus are reviewed for nutritional balance and portion control, and staff are available for cueing or hands-on help at mealtimes when needed.
Residents have access to an activity center on site, clubs and community groups, an in-house movie theater, and planned holiday events. Scheduled outings extend programming off campus, and transportation is available for medical appointments and group social trips.
