Spring Arbor Raeford is an assisted-living community designed to provide residents with the day-to-day support they need while helping them remain as independent as possible. The team assists with activities of daily living, coordinates medication management and offers short-stay respite options for families who need temporary help.
Beyond the basic assisted-living support, the community delivers an extended menu of clinical services. A secured setting, an emergency call system and 12- to 16-hour on-site nursing coverage form the foundation of safety. Residents can access diabetes monitoring, cardiac and stroke care, wound and pain management, incontinence services and ambulatory assistance. Memory care programming—including environments designed specifically for memory loss—operates alongside occupational, physical and speech therapies. A physician, nurses, home health aides, a podiatrist and hospice professionals round out the medical team, while a formal mental-wellness program offers additional oversight.
Apartments are available in several layouts and may include kitchenettes, wall-to-wall carpeting, cable, Wi-Fi and phone service, although not every unit features every item. Wheelchair-accessible showers support ease of movement, and both fully furnished and unfurnished spaces are offered. Residents can enjoy landscaped grounds, an outdoor garden, multiple outdoor seating areas, on-site parking and a library with computer access. Pets are welcome in designated areas subject to community guidelines.
The dining program provides three daily meals with alternate choices at each seating. Standard menus can be adapted for kosher, vegetarian, low-sodium and gluten-free diets, and staff members monitor intake for residents whose medical plans require it.
An activity center hosts scheduled arts and crafts, health and wellness classes, clubs, community meetings and social outings. Residents can also spend time outdoors in supervised areas designed for safe mobility and fresh air.
