TerraBella Newton offers two primary levels of care: Assisted Living and Memory Care. Both are supported by staff trained to monitor and respond to residents’ health needs, with particular attention to managing diabetes through regular blood-glucose checks, medication administration, and coordination with outside physicians when necessary.
Additional on-site medical support includes incontinence care, ambulatory assistance for residents who need help moving around the community, and hospice services for those requiring end-of-life care. Licensed professionals are available around the clock to adjust care plans, oversee medication schedules, and communicate changes in condition to family and primary providers.
Private and semi-private suites are available, and layouts vary; some offer direct access to outdoor sitting areas, while others are closer to common spaces. Select apartments are pet friendly, and the community grounds include landscaped outdoor areas with walking paths that connect to nearby sites such as Midwest Village, Nicholas Conservatory, and Anderson Gardens. Not every accommodation includes every feature, so families should verify specific room details during a visit.
Dining services provide three daily meals prepared on site, with menus designed to meet nutritional guidelines for older adults and accommodate physician-ordered dietary restrictions, including diabetic meal plans. Staff is available to assist residents who need help getting to the dining room or require support while eating.
Residents have access to an activity center that hosts scheduled programs, group events, and individual recreation.
