Kerner Ridge offers two core levels of care: Assisted Living for residents who need help with everyday tasks and Memory Care for individuals experiencing cognitive decline. Both programs are designed to adjust support as health needs evolve, allowing residents to age in place within the same community whenever possible.
Additional medical services help residents stay on track with their treatment plans. A nurse is on call around the clock, and 24-hour staffing and security support prompt responses to urgent needs. The community can provide respite stays as well as physical and occupational therapy on site, reducing the need for outside appointments. Medication coordination, hospice oversight, and routine laundry or dry-cleaning services are also available, with staff trained specifically for Memory Care requirements.
Accommodation choices include studio and companion suites, some featuring private bathrooms, utilities, and scheduled housekeeping and laundry. Not every apartment has every feature, so families are encouraged to confirm the specific layout and services before signing. Dining follows a set menu that is revised periodically, and the kitchen staff manages physician-ordered diet modifications such as low-sodium or diabetic options.
Residents may take meals in a common dining room or request tray service when needed. Portion sizes are consistent, and snacks are stocked in accessible areas to support Memory Care residents who benefit from frequent, smaller meals. Independent Living residents on campus can opt into medication-management monitoring and weekly housekeeping, allowing them to maintain autonomy while still receiving essential oversight.
An exercise room supports basic fitness, scheduled transportation helps residents reach medical appointments or local shops, and community-wide internet access allows for telehealth visits and easy communication with family members.
