Spring Arbor of Greensboro offers two levels of licensed care—Assisted Living and Memory Care—designed to help residents who range from needing minimal reminders to those living with moderate dementia. Clinical support covers a broad spectrum: nurses monitor residents who are up during the night, manage wounds, oversee oxygen use, and coordinate special diets. The team is experienced with diabetic care for residents on oral medication, injections, or sliding-scale insulin, ensuring blood glucose is tracked and medications are adjusted as directed by physicians.
Around-the-clock oversight is provided by an RN or LPN on site for up to 16 hours a day and on call 24 hours a day. All staff members pass background checks, and an awake night shift responds to in-room pull-cord alerts. The community delivers full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, as well as transfer help ranging from standby supervision to two-person lifts. On-site clinical services include incontinence and ambulatory care, optometry, podiatry, occupational and physical therapy, medication management, hospice coordination, and pet-focused therapy programs, all directed by an activity director who tailors engagement to residents’ cognitive and physical abilities.
Residences feature cable connections, private bathrooms, and emergency response systems, though not every unit includes every feature. Laundry and housekeeping are provided, and maintenance handles repairs. For residents in the independent-living wing, the staff can monitor medication compliance, schedule weekly housekeeping, arrange personal laundry service, and offer a monthly meal plan in the main dining room.
Meals follow a set menu with attention to physician-ordered diets; pureed, low-sodium, and no-concentrated-sweets options are available at each sitting. Snacks are stocked throughout the day and night, and staff can provide full assistance with feeding when needed. Independent-living residents can purchase flexible meal packages, allowing them to dine in or cook light meals in their own kitchenette.
Amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, an exercise room, wellness center, barber and beauty shop, internet access, landscaped communal gardens, and regularly scheduled on-site religious services.
