Wickshire Steele Creek provides two levels of long-term care: Assisted Living for residents who need varying degrees of help with daily routines, and a dedicated Memory Care program built to support individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, including advanced stages. Both settings are prepared for residents who are prone to wandering at any time of day or night, and care plans can be tailored for those who require full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, or toileting. The community is equipped to manage mobility changes, offering standby help, one-person transfers, and assistance for walkers and wheelchairs.
A licensed nurse—RN or LPN—is on site, there is an awake overnight staff, background checks are completed on all employees, and 24-hour security is in place with pull-cord alert systems in resident suites. On-site medical services include medication management, diabetic care, incontinence support, hospice coordination, physical and occupational therapy, podiatry, optometry, and ambulatory care, all overseen by a full-time nurse and an activity director who adapts programs for cognitive needs. The building was designed to reduce confusion for Memory Care residents and to provide spaces where therapists and visiting specialists can deliver care without the need for outside appointments.
Private and semi-private accommodations are available, each offering routine housekeeping and scheduled laundry services. Floor plans vary, so not every residence includes the same storage space, bathroom configuration, or view; families can confirm specific features during a tour.
Dining services emphasize balanced nutrition and timely meal schedules. Staff are on hand to assist residents who need cueing or full help with eating, and a private dining room can be reserved for family gatherings or special occasions.
Residents have access to a range of on-site conveniences, including wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, a wellness center, internet access, a library, and organized special-interest clubs. Scheduled transportation is available for medical appointments, errands, and community outings.
