The Barclay at SouthPark delivers three levels of residential care—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. Assisted Living residents receive routine help with activities of daily living, while Independent Living tenants maintain an active lifestyle with the assurance that additional support is available if health needs change. The Memory Care neighborhood is designed for residents who need structured reminders and cueing but do not require specialized dementia programming. All care levels benefit from a licensed clinical team that coordinates with outside physicians, pharmacies, and rehabilitation providers to keep medical services consistent and timely.

Staff members are on-site around the clock, and the community maintains 24-hour security coverage. Personal care aides can assist with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting on a self-care basis, stepping in only when a resident needs help to complete the task safely. Transfer assistance is limited to residents who use a walker; mechanical lift transfers are not provided. Care plans are reviewed periodically to ensure support levels remain appropriate as residents’ conditions change.

Apartments vary in size and layout, and not every unit includes every feature. Available options can include a private bathroom, individual climate controls, cable hookup, and permission to paint or decorate. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry services are provided for all Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. Independent Living occupants receive housekeeping and laundry on a scheduled basis as well, along with maintenance services and priority access to higher care levels if needed.

Dining is flexible. Meals can be ordered from a menu, taken in a communal dining room, enjoyed through in-room service, or hosted in a private dining space for family events. Snacks are available throughout the day. Independent Living residents purchase a monthly meal plan that covers a set number of meals, allowing them to supplement with cooking or off-site dining as they choose.

Residents have access to on-site parking, a barber and beauty salon, an exercise room, a movie theater, a wellness center, reliable internet, concierge services, a library, a swimming pool, and various special-interest clubs that foster social interaction. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
