Providence Meadows centers its healthcare model on independent living, and the community is not licensed to provide dementia-specific services. Residents who are medically stable and primarily need a supportive environment rather than continuous clinical oversight find that the setting matches their level of need. Regular wellness monitoring is available through scheduled check-ins, and the staff coordinates with outside physicians and therapy providers when additional services are prescribed.
Care delivery is reinforced by background-checked personnel, an activity director who tailors daily engagement, and an awake night shift that maintains 24-hour supervision. Team members assist with the core activities of daily living—bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting—according to each resident’s care plan, and they can provide transfer support for individuals who use a walker. These services are adjusted as needs change, allowing residents to remain on campus longer without disruptive moves.
Private and companion suites are offered, with basic cable available in many—but not all—units. Weekly housekeeping is included, and maintenance staff handle routine repairs. Independent living residents may also opt for additional housekeeping and scheduled laundry, both of which can be arranged through the front desk.
Dining is served from a set menu at standard mealtimes, while an on-order option lets residents choose alternatives within posted hours. The culinary staff consults with dietitians to accommodate common therapeutic diets, and meal textures can be modified when clinically indicated. Snacks and beverages are stocked in communal areas for residents who prefer smaller, more frequent servings.
Residents have access to surface parking for personal vehicles, an exercise room with low-impact equipment, campus-wide internet, a library, and multipurpose rooms that host special-interest clubs. Non-denominational religious services are held on site each week, and transportation is arranged for larger faith gatherings and off-campus errands.
