LiveWell at Governors Club offers two primary levels of care: Residential Care Home services and specialized Memory Care. Residents who need help with the routines of daily life receive assistance with tasks such as bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and mobility, while those with dementia or other cognitive impairments are supported in a program designed to address memory loss and related behaviors. Care plans are personalized, and trained caregivers are on hand to monitor changing needs and coordinate with outside healthcare providers when additional interventions are required.
Medical oversight includes focused diabetes care. Staff members perform blood-glucose checks, administer insulin or other prescribed medications, and maintain records so physicians are kept current. The entire community is secured, limiting the risk of wandering and providing controlled access for visitors. Around-the-clock staffing means someone is always available to respond to urgent medical situations or routine needs, helping residents and families feel confident about safety.
Private and semi-private rooms are available, and most come furnished, though residents may bring personal items and can paint or decorate their space. Cable service, housekeeping, parking, and scheduled laundry are offered, and select rooms are pet-friendly. Outdoor areas give residents a place for fresh air, but not every unit has direct outdoor access or all listed features, so it is best to confirm what is included in a specific room.
Dining is handled through an on-order kitchen that prepares three daily meals plus snacks. Menus accommodate diet modifications such as vegetarian choices and physician-directed nutritional management plans. Portions are monitored for residents with diabetes or other dietary needs to support stable blood sugar and overall wellness.
An activity center hosts daily programs, and residents are encouraged to spend time outdoors when weather permits. These services provide social interaction and exercise, supporting cognitive health and general well-being.
