Carol Woods Continuing Care Retirement Community offers Assisted Living as its primary care level. Residents who require routine monitoring and management of diabetes will find dedicated support, with staff trained in blood-glucose checks, medication oversight, and coordination with outside physicians when needed.
Additional health support is available on site, including incontinence assistance, ambulatory help, podiatry services, hospice coordination, dental and hearing care, occupational and speech therapy, and access to licensed nurses. The community maintains an emergency call system and a full sprinkler system for prompt response and safety. Family and resident counseling is offered, and the campus provides a pathway to higher levels of care under its continuing-care model, allowing residents to remain on campus if their health needs change.
Living options range from studio and efficiency layouts to residences that may include wall-to-wall carpet, in-unit washer and dryer, cable television, Wi-Fi, and utilities. Outdoor areas, landscaped grounds, gardens, and walking paths give residents spaces to spend time outside, while regular housekeeping is available. Because layouts and features vary, not every residence includes every element listed.
Meals are prepared on site and served daily, with standard fare included in the monthly plan. Low-sodium and vegetarian choices are part of the regular rotation, and guest meals can be arranged for visiting family or friends.
Residents have access to an activity center that schedules arts and crafts classes, yoga sessions, and various clubs and community groups. A library and computer lounge offers quiet space for reading and internet use, and staff coordinate new programs based on resident interest.
