The Village at Brookwood provides three primary levels of care. Independent Living supports residents who want maintenance-free housing with optional access to services, Assisted Living supplies help with activities such as dressing or medication reminders, and Memory Care is structured for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias. Short-term respite stays are available, allowing caregivers a temporary break while ensuring the same supervision and support given to full-time residents.
Health oversight is reinforced by 24-hour staff who can be reached through an emergency call system installed in living areas. Licensed nurses are on site to monitor vitals, coordinate medications and communicate with outside physicians. Routine clinical tasks are handled for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, while Independent Living tenants can request help as needs change. Laundry and dry-cleaning services are performed inside the community, limiting outside traffic and allowing staff to track personal items.
Residences range from studio and efficiency layouts to larger apartments, with options that may include wall-to-wall carpet, in-unit washers and dryers, cable television, Wi-Fi and utilities. Some units open to landscaped grounds, outdoor garden space or other exterior areas, and housekeeping is provided. Because floor plans vary, not every apartment includes every feature, so confirming specifics during a visit is advised.
Dining services provide three daily meals prepared on site, and the kitchen staff can accommodate low-sodium, gluten-free and other allergen-free diets when ordered in advance. Menus are reviewed with healthcare personnel to align with physician directives, especially for Memory Care or Assisted Living residents who have special dietary requirements. Independent Living residents may opt into meal plans that match their schedules and nutritional goals.
Residents have access to an activity center that hosts arts and crafts sessions, wellness and fitness classes, and organized gatherings of clubs and community groups. A library and computer lounge offers a quiet place to read, research or connect online. These amenities are scheduled and supervised by staff to encourage participation while respecting individual health restrictions and personal interests.
