The Terrace at Beverwyck offers both Assisted Living and Independent Living. Residents who need clinical oversight have access to licensed nurses for medication monitoring and routine health checks, including support for diabetics managed with oral medications. Staff members are trained to work with individuals who have mild dementia, and memory-care programming is available on-site. An RN or LPN is on staff, and the community maintains 24-hour staffing with security personnel always on site.
Daily care services range from standby supervision to hands-on assistance. Team members can help with bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, dining, and toileting, and they provide full incontinence and ambulatory care when required. A wellness program encourages residents to stay active, while background-checked caregivers respond to pull-cord alerts and personal emergency response systems. Night shifts are covered by awake staff, and an activity director coordinates structured programs throughout the day. Housekeeping, laundry and dry-cleaning services, and routine medication management are part of the standard service package.
Apartments are designed for privacy and practicality. Floor plans may include a private bathroom, kitchenette, individual temperature controls, cable television hookup, and scheduled housekeeping and laundry services, though not every unit contains every feature. Residents can choose the accommodation style that best matches their needs and budget.
Dining options are straightforward. Three daily meals are available from a set menu, and residents can also order alternate selections at each sitting. Independent Living residents receive weekly housekeeping and may elect a monthly meal plan that they can use in the main dining room without enrolling in the full Assisted Living service bundle.
Community amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, an exercise room, wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, an on-site barber and beauty shop, religious services, concierge assistance, scheduled transportation, and proximity to public transit.
