Brookdale Painted Post operates as an assisted-living community designed for residents who need some help with daily life but do not require dementia care. Diabetes monitoring, on-site physical therapy, speech therapy and a structured mental wellness program are available. A 24-hour call system, regular coordination with outside health-care providers and continuous staff supervision create an environment where clinical concerns can be addressed quickly.
Nursing coverage is scheduled 12–16 hours each day, backed up by an awake overnight staff for safety checks and prompt response. Services include medication management, wound care, hospice coordination, incontinence management, ambulatory assistance and preventive health screenings. Residents who need partial help with bathing, dressing, eating or toileting receive that support as part of their individualized care plans.
Apartments range from studio and efficiency layouts to ground-floor units; some have kitchenettes, bath tubs, washer–dryer sets, flat-screen TVs or garden views. Central air conditioning, cable service, Wi-Fi and phone connections are standard in many—but not all—units. The community maintains indoor common areas such as a fireside living room, library and computer lounge, along with outdoor walking paths, courtyards and gardens. Pet-friendly housing is available in select areas, and resident parking is offered on a surface lot.
Dining is provided three times daily with an all-day option for flexible scheduling. Menus accommodate low-sodium, no-added-sugar, vegetarian, vegan, kosher and gluten-free needs. Restaurant-style service is standard, and guests may join residents for meals by arrangement.
Amenities include resident parking, a barber and beauty shop, internet access throughout the building, communal gardens, a concierge desk, a community kitchen and the fireside living room noted above. Scheduled transportation helps residents reach medical appointments and local errands. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
