Culinarians Home provides both Assisted Living and Independent Living programs. Medical oversight supports residents who follow special diets, take oral diabetes medications, or require insulin injections. Mild dementia conditions are accommodated within these care types, and care plans are adjusted to meet individual medical requirements.
Additional care features include comprehensive background checks for all staff, an awake night‐shift team, and an activity director who coordinates daily engagement. Pull-cord alert systems in resident rooms connect directly to staff. On-site medical offerings include routine podiatry visits, and the community is prepared to serve residents with psychiatric diagnoses. Help with daily activities is tiered: staff can give some physical assistance for bathing and dressing, while standby supervision is provided for eating and toileting. Transfers are supported for residents who use a walker or who only need standby help.
Apartments are available with private bathrooms, furnished basics, and individual temperature controls, and residents may paint or decorate their rooms. Cable service is offered. Not every accommodation includes every feature, so it is best to confirm specific room details during a visit.
Meals are served from a set menu with the capability to modify dishes for medical or personal diet needs, aligning with the community’s support for diabetic residents and other special diets. Snacks are available throughout the day, and staff monitor nutritional intake for those on specialized meal plans.
Amenities and services include resident parking, designated outdoor smoking areas, full wheelchair access, and an on-site barber and beauty shop. A dedicated movie room, community-wide internet access, and on-site religious services are available. Scheduled transportation is provided for medical appointments and local errands.
