Fox Trail Memory Care Living at Ramsey is dedicated exclusively to Memory Care. The staff is trained to work with residents who wander during the day or night, are at risk for elopement, display combative or other challenging behaviors, or remain awake throughout the night. The program accepts and supports individuals with advanced stages of dementia, tailoring daily routines to preserve safety and predictability.
The community is fully secured, reducing exit-seeking risks, and maintains 24-hour staffing to respond quickly to any change in condition. On-site medical services include podiatry, audiology, dental care, and a therapy room, and the residence accepts psychiatric cases so residents can receive mental-health oversight without leaving the property. Full assistance is offered with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and staff are trained in a range of transfers—from simple standby help to walker and wheelchair support, one-person lifts, and two-person transfers—so residents with varying mobility needs can remain at the community as care levels change.
Private and companion suites are available; some come furnished and others allow families to bring personal items. Certain rooms include cable service, and housekeeping is provided on a regular schedule, although specific features vary by unit. The dining program offers both set menus and made-to-order selections. Therapeutic diets such as gluten-free, vegetarian, and thickened-liquid plans are accommodated, and nutrition staff coordinate with medical providers to manage diet modifications.
Residents take their meals in a common dining space designed for easy staff observation, and assistance is provided for anyone who needs cueing or hand-over-hand help to finish a meal. Snacks are accessible throughout the day, and hydration rounds are conducted to reduce the risk of dehydration, especially important for residents with cognitive impairment.
Shared amenities include wheelchair-accessible paths, a movie room, internet access, communal gardens, and a stair glide that assists residents who prefer to visit multiple levels without the strain of stairs. Special-interest clubs meet regularly, allowing residents to engage in structured activities that match their abilities and preferences.
