Leisure Park offers both Assisted Living and Independent Living, giving residents a choice between daily support and a more self-directed lifestyle. The clinical program is equipped to manage residents who wander during the day or night, have elopement risk, remain awake overnight, or require oxygen therapy. Nurses monitor diabetics on oral medication or insulin injections, and care teams are trained to support advanced dementia, adjusting plans as conditions progress.
Care delivery is backed by an RN or LPN on site, a nurse available by phone around the clock, and an activity director who coordinates therapeutic engagement. Apartments are fitted with pull-cord systems that route alerts directly to staff. Podiatry and dental providers visit the building, reducing the need for outside appointments. Staff provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting, and offer some help with meals for residents who need it. Transfer capabilities range from standby supervision to one-person assists for walker or wheelchair users, and bed-bound residents are accommodated.
Residences can include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, independent temperature controls, cable service, and the option to paint or decorate; however, not every suite contains every feature, so touring is recommended. Housekeeping is provided, and Independent Living residents can add medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, and laundry service as needed.
Dining features a set menu prepared three times daily, snack access throughout the day, and a private dining room for family gatherings. The culinary staff is accustomed to diet modifications, including diabetic and texture-altered meals, ensuring residents’ medical nutrition orders are followed.
Leisure Park rounds out daily life with resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie theater, wellness center, building-wide internet, on-site religious services, and stair glides for easier navigation. Scheduled transportation covers local errands and medical appointments, and the community shuttle can be reserved for physician visits.
