The Villas of Holmdel provides both Assisted Living and Independent Living, allowing residents to adjust the degree of support they receive without having to leave the community. For those in Assisted Living, staff can manage full-assistance bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Clinical capabilities cover wandering behaviors morning or evening, elopement risk, combative or other behavioral concerns, nighttime wakefulness, wound care, oxygen therapy, specialized diets, diabetes care on oral medication, injections, or sliding scale, and the needs of residents under 60. The community also accepts and supports advanced dementia conditions.

Care is backed by an RN or LPN on staff, a nurse on call around the clock, awake and asleep night-shift coverage, and 24-hour security with door alarms, fenced areas, WanderGuard, pull cords, and PERS alerts. Residents have on-site access to podiatry, audiology, dental services, a therapy room, and the community accepts psychiatric diagnoses. Transfer assistance ranges from standby help to two-person or full Hoyer-lift moves, and an activity director coordinates daily programming.

Apartments can include a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent temperature controls, cable service, and in-unit laundry; housekeeping and scheduled laundry are offered community-wide. Residents may personalize their space, but not every unit features every amenity, so prospective residents should confirm specific layouts during a tour. Independent Living residents receive medication-management monitoring, housekeeping, laundry, and a monthly meal plan while maintaining a greater level of autonomy.

Dining offers a set menu, on-order options, and all-day snacks. Meals can be served in the restaurant-style dining room, privately in apartments, or in a reserved family room. Dietary modifications accommodate gluten-free needs, vegetarian choices, mechanical-chop, puréed, and thickened-liquid textures, as well as other physician-ordered restrictions.

Resident parking, wheelchair access, concierge services, a barber/beauty shop, exercise room, movie room, wellness center, library, pool, communal gardens, special-interest clubs, internet access, on-site religious services, and a selection of transportation options—including scheduled shuttle, medical transport, TowneCar service, and proximity to public transit—round out daily living. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
