CareOne at Hamilton is licensed for assisted living and is equipped to manage residents with a wide range of medical needs. The team accepts individuals who wander or are at risk for elopement, residents who stay up through the night, and those requiring wound care, oxygen support, or specialized diets. Diabetes management is available for people on oral medications, insulin injections, or sliding-scale protocols. Staff members are also trained to work with adults under 60 and to manage the challenges presented by advanced dementia.
Care is delivered by RNs and LPNs on site, with a nurse on call around the clock. An activity director coordinates daily engagement and the building has fenced outdoor space, alarmed doors, pull-cords, and personal emergency response systems to alert staff quickly. Visiting podiatrists handle routine foot care without residents leaving the community. Direct hands-on help is available for full-assist bathing, dressing, and toileting, as well as partial help with eating. Mobility support ranges from supervision for walker users to two-person or Hoyer-lift transfers when necessary.
Apartments offer combinations of private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and cable service, though not every unit includes every feature. Residents furnish their own spaces, and maintenance is handled by the community. Daily menus are set, with snacks available between meals; therapeutic diets ordered by physicians are followed closely. Independent-living clients on the same campus can receive medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, and laundry service if they choose.
The property supplies resident parking, a barber and beauty shop, an exercise room, a movie room, and a wellness center with internet access for personal use. Outdoors, communal gardens provide a secure place to spend time, and a stair glide helps residents move between levels when needed. Scheduled transportation is offered for medical appointments and local errands. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
