Brandywine Reflections at Brick is a dedicated Memory Care community equipped to serve residents with a wide range of cognitive and medical needs. The team is prepared to manage wandering behaviors at any time of day, potential elopement risk, combative or other challenging behaviors, and supports individuals with advanced dementia. Residents under 60 years old are accepted, and diabetic care is available whether they require oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin management.
Clinical oversight is maintained by on-site RNs or LPNs, with a nurse on call around the clock. Both the front and rear grounds are fenced, and all exit doors are alarmed to help keep residents safe. Podiatry visits take place in the community, reducing the need for off-site appointments. Staff provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and can help with mobility using walkers, wheelchairs, standby supervision, or a one-person transfer, depending on each resident’s abilities.
Living spaces vary, and not every accommodation includes every feature, but options can offer a private bathroom, a kitchenette, individual climate controls, cable service, and the ability to paint or decorate to personal taste. Families may wish to confirm the availability of desired features when touring.
Meals follow a set menu designed to meet nutritional guidelines, with snacks offered throughout the day. The dining team can adjust textures and ingredients for diet modifications or management plans as ordered by the resident’s physician.
Residents have access to parking, wheelchair-friendly common areas, a barber and beauty salon, exercise room, movie room, wellness center, and a stair glide for easier access between floors. Pureed food options are available for those who need them, and scheduled transportation helps residents reach medical appointments and community outings.
