Nashua Crossings offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care under one roof, allowing residents to move between levels of support without relocating. Clinical capabilities include management of behavioral issues, wound care, oxygen therapy, complex diets, and all tiers of diabetic care, from oral medications to sliding-scale insulin. The community is able to serve residents who are awake through the night and those living with advanced dementia.
An RN or LPN is on the roster, a nurse is on-site 24 hours a day, and another nurse remains on call after hours. Residents can signal staff by pull cord or personal emergency response system. On-site podiatry visits reduce the need for outside appointments. Direct care staff provide complete assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and continence care. Mobility support ranges from standby help with a walker to two-person and Hoyer-lift transfers, and the team can care for individuals who are bedbound.
Apartments vary; some include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, independent temperature controls, the option to paint or decorate, and cable access, while others offer only a portion of these features. Meals are served from a set menu, with an option to order alternates, and snacks are available throughout the day. Therapeutic and preference-based diet modifications are accommodated. Independent Living residents may add medication management monitoring and receive routine housekeeping and personal laundry service.
Residents have access to outdoor smoking areas, wheelchair-friendly common spaces, a barber and beauty shop, community internet, communal gardens, on-site religious services, scheduled transportation, and proximity to public transit. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
