Hunt Community offers three levels of residency—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—allowing residents to transition between support levels without leaving the campus. Care teams are trained to assist with daily activities, memory‐related challenges, and the unique needs of residents with diabetes. A speech therapist is available for residents who need help maintaining or improving communication and swallowing abilities, and the on-site emergency call system ensures staff can respond to concerns at any time.
Additional clinical support includes on-site nurses, medication management, diabetic monitoring, and incontinence and ambulatory care. Physical and occupational therapists, as well as a visiting podiatrist, provide scheduled therapy and foot care. Residents’ pets benefit from dedicated pet-focused programs, and laundry and dry-cleaning services are handled on site to minimize off-campus errands. The overall medical program is designed to reduce hospital visits and help residents maintain independence safely.
Accommodations range from studio and efficiency apartments to larger layouts, some of which include in-unit washers and dryers, private patios, or garden views. All residences are air conditioned and wired for cable or satellite TV, and housekeeping services are provided. Select units offer handicap-accessible features, central fireplaces, or proximity to outdoor areas, gardens, parking, and a billiards lounge. The community is pet friendly, and cats are specifically permitted, but not every apartment includes every feature.
Dining is handled by a professional chef and culinary team that prepares three daily meals along with all-day dining options. Menus can accommodate low-sodium, no-sugar, kosher, vegetarian, gluten-free, and organic preferences, and residents may reserve a private dining room for family gatherings. Restaurant-style service is standard, and seasonal barbecues or picnics are scheduled when weather permits.
Residents have access to an activity center, fitness and stretching classes, yoga sessions, and a swimming pool. A library and computer lounge, arts and crafts studio, bingo nights, TV and movie screenings, and organized clubs create multiple ways to stay engaged. The community schedules regular day trips, social outings, and holiday gatherings, and its Live Well and health-and-wellness programs integrate preventive care with recreational activities.
