Immanuel Lakeside Village offers three levels of residence—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—within the same Omaha campus, allowing residents to transition as needs change. The Memory Care program is equipped to support residents with advanced dementia, and the clinical team can accommodate oxygen use, diabetics on oral medications or insulin injections, and adults under 60 who require assisted living services.
The medical infrastructure includes an RN or LPN on staff and a nurse on call around the clock. Safety systems such as pull-cord alerts, personal emergency response pendants, 24-hour awake staff, and on-site security provide continuous oversight. Residents have access to podiatry without leaving the building, and caregivers provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Mobility support ranges from simple standby help to one-person transfers for walkers and wheelchairs, ensuring residents can be moved safely and comfortably.
Apartments may feature a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent climate controls, cable service, and the option to paint or decorate, but not every unit includes every feature. Weekly housekeeping, personal laundry service, and a monthly meal plan are available to Independent Living residents, relieving them of routine chores while preserving autonomy.
Dining services offer both a set menu and made-to-order choices at each meal, with snacks available throughout the day. Special diets related to diabetes or other medical conditions can be accommodated, and residents in Memory Care or Assisted Living receive any required mealtime assistance from staff.
Community amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty salon, exercise room, movie theater, wellness center, communal gardens, internet access, on-site religious services, and scheduled transportation for shopping or appointments. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
